Buyer FAQ — numbers, not “contact us”
- What is your minimum order quantity?
- 1,000 pieces per style, with colour splits agreed per program.
- How long does a first order take, end to end?
- Typically 12–16 weeks from inquiry to delivery, including sampling. Reorders run faster — around 8–10 weeks — because your patterns, lab dips, and approved sample are already on file.
- What do samples cost?
- Sample making and courier are charged at cost and credited against your bulk order. Couriered samples reach Europe or North America in 3–5 days.
- What are your payment terms?
- 30% deposit by bank transfer, 70% against a copy of the Bill of Lading. Letters of Credit accepted via our Nepali bank on larger orders. We never ask you to pay 100% upfront — and you shouldn’t accept that from any factory.
- What duty will I pay?
- 0% into the UK, EU, Canada, and Japan under LDC trade preferences — versus 12–18% for most large garment origins — with the proof-of-origin documents supplied. EU access is confirmed through a transition to at least 2029; ask us about the window for your market.
- What capacity do you have?
- 150+ sewing machines on a single knit floor, producing 26,000–30,000 pieces per month, confirmed per program.
- Can you sew in my labels?
- Yes — woven or printed labels, sewn in at the factory, with fibre-content labelling done compliantly for the EU, UK, and Canada (bilingual for Canada).
- How do I verify you’re real before ordering?
- Take a live, unscripted video walkthrough of the floor — you direct the camera — any working day. Or visit Gaindakot in person. Company registration and export documents available on request.
