Manufacturing in Nepal isn’t just competitive on price. For many markets it lands your goods duty-free, and it’s a smart way to de-risk your sourcing.
Duty-free access to the EU, UK & Canada
As a Nepal-based LDC producer, our t-shirts and polos qualify for 0% import duty into the EU (Everything But Arms), the UK (DCTS), and Canada (LDCT) under single-transformation rules — so they count as Nepal-made even though the fabric is imported, and we supply the Certificate of Origin.
Applies to the EU / UK / Canada / Japan. Ask us about the LDC-transition window (EU ~to 2029) and your exact product.
A straight answer on the US market
We won’t oversell this one. Nepal has no duty-free access to the US for knit garments — the Nepal Trade Preference Program expired at the end of 2025, and US GSP has been lapsed since 2020 and excludes apparel in any case. US buyers pay standard MFN duty, which on knit tops is significant, plus whatever trade measures are current. Tell us your product and we’ll quote the real landed cost rather than a headline number.
US tariff policy has moved repeatedly through 2026 — always confirm the current rate with your customs broker.

Landlocked isn’t a problem
Gaindakot sits on Nepal’s main east–west highway with direct road links to the Indian border and the Kolkata/Vizag seaports. Bulk moves by sea from there; samples and urgent runs go by air. Export documentation and duty management are handled for you — it’s a well-trodden route, not a complication.
Duty rates depend on your market and product’s rule of origin, and LDC duty-free access runs through a transition window — tell us your destination country and we’ll confirm exactly what applies to your order.

In-house CAD & pattern making
Optitex CAD for pattern making, marking, and on-site resizing. Consistent graded patterns and efficient markers mean cleaner fits and less fabric waste.
Cut & sew production
A dedicated single-floor knit line of 150+ machines, focused on quality knit basics — t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, and similar jersey and pique garments.
Private-label finishing
Your labels, care labels, hangtags, size/composition marking, and retail-ready packaging. Garments arrive branded and ready for your shelves.
Quality control — AQL 2.5
We inspect finished orders to AQL 2.5 (2.5 major / 4.0 minor) — the apparel-industry standard — or to your specified level. In-line and final inspection cover stitch quality, measurements, and finish, and every defect is logged digitally to the operation and operator, so quality is managed, not hoped for. Buyer-appointed third-party inspection is welcome.
Digital production tracking
We run our own factory ERP with barcode/QR bundle tracking. Every bundle is scanned through each operation in real time, so we know exactly where your order is on the floor and every piece is accounted for from cutting to packing — with live piece-count reconciliation. A modern system most factories our size don’t have.

From first sketch to repeat order

Brief & quote
Share your tech pack, designs, or a reference, plus target quantities and FOB target. We confirm fabric, fit, and what’s buildable, and come back with MOQ, price, and lead time.

Pattern & development
Our in-house Optitex CAD team drafts and grades the pattern and builds the marker for efficient fabric consumption — development, not just contract sewing.

Sample & approval
We make your pre-production sample to spec. You review fit, fabric, and finish; we revise until it’s signed off. Nothing cuts to bulk until you approve.

Source & cut
Fabric and trims are sourced and inspected, then cut to the approved consumption. Your labels, care labels, and trims are prepared for finishing.

Produce & inspect
The approved sample goes to the line. We sew and finish under in-line checks and a final inspection to AQL 2.5 before packing — every defect logged digitally to the operation and operator. We welcome your appointed third-party inspector too.

Pack, document & ship
Ratio-packed and carton-marked to your spec, with export documentation, the Certificate of Origin for duty-free clearance, and duty management. Shipped by sea or air.
